Some Firsts

I have been so busy and have been neglecting all my blogs. Here are some firsts that Isaac has had lately.

First time in a lake!

First camping trip!

First trip to a dino museum


First Trip to the CEU Museum.

First Mountain Dew.
(no, he didn't drink any. He loves playing with bottles, but for some reason prefers the green Mountain Dew bottles)


First Parade. We went to the Strawberry Days parade.

First Solid Food.
I have been making baby food. Organic brown rice cereal, sweet potatoes, avocados, squash (different varieties), bananas, apple sauce, carrots, pears, peaches, and oatmeal. This kid loves to eat! In this picture you can see how he likes to help me direct the spoon of food to his mouth! Making baby food has been fun. I have a little food processor that has made it easy. I cook the food, mush it up, then put it into ice cube trays. After it's frozen I put the food cubes in zip lock bags.

Isaac Hugs!

Isaac has learned to hug! Very cute!

8 Week Appointment and New High Chair

Isaac had his 8 week appointment on My 2nd. He is 12.5lbs and 25.5in long. He laughs and smiles a lot. He is very aware of what is going on around him. He is very curious and likes to look around. I can't believe how fast time flies!

He got 5 shots and 1 oral immunization. He did really well with his shots this time. He was too curious about the nurses to nurse while he got the shots, but he only cried for a second and then was fine. He got a slight fever after the shots.

I got a high chair for Isaac. He loves sitting at the table with us while we eat. He is really anxious to eat solid food, but I am waiting till he is 6 months.

Having Fun Playing

Isaac has just started to play with stuff to keep himself busy. When I first bought him this toy he would just lay there and look at stuff. Now he grabs the toys and he also likes to grab the bars with his legs. And he likes to jabber at his toys. So cute!
